We are hiring for our client an established Civil Engineering and Utilities contractor based in Co. Down for the recruitment of a MEICA Engineer. This MEICA Engineer role is based across active project sites spanning NI and ROI working closely with operational teams site management and senior leadership. The successful MEICA Engineer will oversee the full project lifecycle from conceptual design and vendor procurement through to on-site installation compliance commissioning and final handover.

Prepare schedule coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance against applicable codes practices policies performance standards and specifications
Liaise daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements representing them in the field
Oversee overall quality control of the work (budget schedule plans personnel performance) and report regularly on project status
Assign responsibilities and support the project team
Communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants providing assistanceand technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Collaborate with stakeholders on project needs and goals
The Person:
Degree HNC or HND in an engineering discipline
Experience in MEICA Civil Engineering Utilities WWTW
Proven experience as a MEICA Engineer
Experience within a water or similar industrial background
Strong understanding of CDM and its application to projects
Strong understanding of the various NEC contracts and their application
Excellent communication and time management skills
Strong knowledge of UK/Irish health and safety legislation
Valid UK driving licence
