Job Summary
The Occupational Health Service require a Medical Office ST3
Essential Criteria
Registered with GMC with a Licence to practice
Can demonstrate appropriate revalidation and medical appraisal history
Should have completed CT1 CT2 so effectively be at ST3 level as a minimum
Desirable Criteria
Experience in Occupational Health is preferable.
FOM Diploma in Occupational Medicine or higher preferable.
Key Duties
The postholder will report to the Medical Lead for OHS:
Assessment of sickness absence and general fitness cases to provide a report to the employer
Advice on outcome of health surveillance programmes depending on level of experience and training
Advice on Ill health retirement and NICS injury awards depending on experience and training
Advice to other clinical staff and OHS business support staff as require

Essential Requirements
Valid GMC Registration with full Licence to Practice
Right to Work in the UK
Minimum 6 months of medical experience in this role or a similar role within the UK
