The Opportunity:

Revolution Medicines is seeking a highly motivated and scientifically driven field based and customer facing Medical Advisor / Medical Liaison to take on Medical Affairs launch activities in UK. This role will report to the Senior Medical Director UK and form part of a cross functional launch team. This position will be instrumental in driving scientific excellence clinical insight and medical strategy supporting our oncology pipeline and future marketed products. The field based Medical Advisor / Medical Liaison will work closely with the Senior Medical Director to lead launch activities within the UK affiliate ensuring scientific integrity and alignment with global and European medical affairs and clinical objectives. The position will require close collaboration with cross-functional partners including clinical development clinical operations regulatory commercial HEOR market access and other field medical teams across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an pre-launch UK Medical Affairs strategy and tactical plan for assigned products and therapeutic areas.

  • Establish and maintain trusted scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) investigators and healthcare professionals across UK.

  • Provide medical oversight and scientific input to cross-functional teams ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with other Medical Science Liaisons Medical Affairs and clinical research departments to support scientific exchange education and data dissemination activities.

  • Contribute to medical input in promotional and non-promotional materials internal training and advisory boards.

  • Plan and execute national medical meetings symposia and congress participation to enhance scientific visibility.

  • Support investigator-initiated trials and local clinical research activities in collaboration with global and regional teams.

  • Monitor the competitive and scientific landscape to inform internal strategy and provide actionable medical insights.

  • Partner with HEOR and market access to develop real-world evidence and outcomes research projects.

  • Ensure compliance with UK regulatory frameworks governing interactions with healthcare professionals.

  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Operations and CROs including site selection Site Initiation Visits and investigator engagement.

Required Skills Experience and Education:

  • Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD PharmD or PhD) required; oncology experience strongly preferred.

  • Experieced professional with around 8-10 years of experience in Medical Affairs or related functions in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred.

  • Strong understanding of oncology clinical development evidence generation and treatment landscape.

  • Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data.

  • Experience engaging with healthcare professionals academic researchers and medical societies.

  • Excellent interpersonal organizational and presentation skills.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed cross-functional and multicultural environment.

  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 40%).

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in oncology product launches.

  • Strong network within the UK oncology community.

  • Experience in investigator-initiated or real-world evidence studies.

  • Knowledge of UK healthcare systems reimbursement structures and compliance requirements.

  • Track record in publication planning congress presentations and scientific communications.
