Media & English Teacher Experience and Qualifications

• A degree in English Media Journalism or a closely related discipline

• A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE)

• Strong subject knowledge across English and Media

• Experience teaching English Media Studies or related subjects

• Excellent written verbal organisational and ICT skills

• The ability to inspire motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities

• A creative and engaging approach to teaching

• The ability to develop pupils analytical communication and creative skills

• A genuine enthusiasm for both English and contemporary media

• The legal right to work in the UK
