Job Summary
Starting Basic salary (plus standby & overtime payments): 39520 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject)
35360 for candidates with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject)
Clear progression opportunities to earn up to 47840 Basic with further training and experience
Permanent Full-time with flexibility for part-time 37 hours 5-day working pattern including some weekends.
Location: Dunstable Luton Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas

Get ready to make a difference and join us as a maintenance technician responsible for carrying out general repairs investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is not just about doing a job it has a real purpose; its about protecting our environment.
With support from a collaborative team your mechanical knowledge will enable you to be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of water recycling assets including equipment installed at water treatment works as well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our mechanical assets Experience working with mechanical control systems telemetry systems pumps gearboxes and general mechanical/electrical plant maintenance would also be role is vital and will have a direct impact on the environment and communities that we serve.
What does it take to be a Wastewater Maintenance Technician
To be successful in this role you must have obtained at least an NVQ level 2 or 3 (mechanical/engineering) qualification (or equivalent) and/or completed a relevant apprenticeship and hold a full UK driving licence
