Mechanical Fitter

is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join its growing team.

This company delivers specialist engineering services across infrastructure and environmental sites

Location: Dartford

Salary: 20 - 21 per hour

Working hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Permanent PAYE position

Role Overview

As a Mechanical Fitter you will carry out installation maintenance and repair work across a range of

mechanical systems on-site. You will be part of a wider team delivering projects safely efficiently and

to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Installation maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment

Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical systems

Working on pumps pipework valves and associated equipment

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance

Supporting reactive and emergency works when required

Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards

Completing risk assessments and following method statements

Requirements

Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification

Experience in an on-site mechanical engineering environment

Strong knowledge of pumps motors and pipework systems

CSCS card or equivalent

Additional tickets (EUSR IPAF PASMA Confined Space Abrasive Wheels) beneficial but not

essential

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills and strong work ethic
