Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to assemble bolt and align structural modular this role you will interpret engineering drawings to build core steel chassis and integrate mechanical components for high-quality modular units.
Key Responsibilities
- Frame Assembly: Bolt rivet and weld structural steel sections to construct heavy-duty module frames.
- Component Integration: Install mechanical brackets supports and sub-assemblies onto the chassis.
- Alignment & Leveling: Use precision measuring tools to ensure frames are perfectly square level and true to specifications.
- Technical Compliance: Work accurately from engineering blueprints fabrication drawings and geometric welding tolerances.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in mechanical fitting structural steel assembly or heavy fabrication.
- Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled with torque wrenches grinders drills and overhead cranes/hoists.
- Certifications: Relevant mechanical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3) and a valid CSCS card (or regional equivalent)
