A well-established building services consultancy is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing team in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while progressing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking consultancy.

The successful candidate will be involved in the design and delivery of mechanical building services solutions across a variety of sectors working closely with clients architects and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality projects from concept through to completion.

The Role

• Design mechanical building services systems including HVAC heating cooling ventilation and domestic water services.
• Produce detailed calculations reports specifications and technical drawings.
• Coordinate designs with electrical structural and architectural teams.
• Attend client and design team meetings.
• Carry out site visits and surveys where required.
• Support the successful delivery of projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers where appropriate.

Requirements

• Experience working within a UK building services consultancy.
• Intermediate or Senior level experience in mechanical building services design.
• Proficiency with industry software such as AutoCAD Revit and mechanical design packages.
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Working towards or already Chartered status is desirable but not essential.
