Job Summary
Role: Mechanic
Location: London Luton
Hours: 5-5-4 shift pattern Days (Nights may be required)
Salary: 40760 (Inc. shift pay)
Must have experience as a mechanic in a busy line station. Ideally have experience on A320s Right to work (sponsorship is not provided)
Operating Environment
The role is based in the Line Station environment dependent of where the role is required. The normal working week does not exceed 40 hours based on shifts relevant to the operation. There may be occasions due to operational reasons where it is necessary to work outside of these hours.
Qualification & Education:
- A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proven work history in a line maintenance environment
- Experienced in completing wiring modifications primarily on the Airbus family of aircraft but Boeing aircraft would also be an asset.
Training & Knowledge:
- You will need to demonstrate your technical experience as well as leadership behaviours be able to work on your own initiative and make timely decisions. Have the ability to interpret technical publications and make fact based decisions. You need to have a flexible approach show initiative and deliver to tight deadlines.#
- Have a working knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Production Planning;
- High standard of English language (written and oral)
- High standard of computer literacy especially Microsoft Office Suite
