Job Summary
A thriving secondary school in Sheffield is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join its Mathematics department on a full-time basis with an ASAP start.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate Maths Teacher who wants to work within a positive school environment and play an important role in helping students develop their confidence understanding and achievement in Mathematics.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 to KS5 delivering engaging lessons that challenge students while ensuring that all learners are supported to make strong progress.
You will be expected to:
Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations
Adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Mathematics department
The school is looking for a Maths Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school
Can confidently teach across KS3 to KS5
Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
Is committed to raising attainment and student engagement
Can contribute positively to a supportive and ambitious department
