The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students mathematical fluency reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Students follow an ambitious curriculum covering algebra geometry statistics probability calculus and advanced mathematical concepts. You will prepare students for GCSE A-Level and Further Mathematics examinations while inspiring confidence resilience and intellectual curiosity.
You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through UK Mathematics Trust competitions maths clubs intervention programmes enrichment activities and university preparation sessions that encourage students to pursue mathematics beyond the classroom.
Teach Mathematics across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Deliver engaging challenging and well-structured lessons
Prepare students for GCSE A-Level and Further Mathematics examinations
Develop students reasoning analytical and problem-solving skills
Assess progress and provide high-quality constructive feedback
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Support maths competitions enrichment and intervention programmes

Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level and/or Further Mathematics
Experience supporting maths competitions or enrichment programmes
Ability to stretch and challenge academically able students
A proven track record of delivering excellent student outcomes
