The role involves teaching engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities for KS5 teaching for the right candidate. The school places a strong emphasis on mathematical fluency reasoning and problem-solving.
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3-KS5
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations where appropriate
Differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities
Assess student progress and provide effective feedback
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Contribute to department planning and enrichment activities
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to supporting students academic progress
