An outstanding school in Brighton is seeking to appoint an ambitious and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join its highly successful department from September. This is a full-time role within a high-achieving and supportive school that values academic excellence problem-solving and exceptional teaching.

Mathematics is a highly regarded subject within the school with students encouraged to develop confidence resilience and analytical thinking through a broad and engaging curriculum.

You will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging and academically rigorous lessons that inspire curiosity and promote excellent progress.

Students will study topics including algebra geometry probability statistics calculus trigonometry and mathematical reasoning while developing problem-solving and analytical skills.

You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations supporting them in achieving excellent outcomes and progression to higher education and STEM-related pathways.

You will work collaboratively within a successful Mathematics department committed to maintaining outstanding standards of teaching and learning.

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 KS4 and KS5

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the Maths curriculum

• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations

• Assess student work and provide detailed constructive feedback

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development

• Support Maths enrichment intervention or extracurricular activities

• Maintain high standards of classroom engagement and achievement

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics

• Experience working in an outstanding or high-achieving school

• Ability to contribute to Maths clubs competitions or enrichment opportunities

• Strong track record of examination success
