A high-performing secondary school in Newcastle is looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its established department on a permanent basis.

The school has high expectations for its students and is looking for a teacher who can deliver well-structured lessons build positive relationships with pupils and contribute positively to the wider Maths team.

You will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach at KS5 depending on your experience and the needs of the department.

The role will involve:

• Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons

• Teaching across a range of abilities

• Preparing students for GCSE examinations

• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress

• Providing appropriate challenge and support

• Working alongside colleagues on curriculum planning

• Contributing to departmental meetings and wider school life

Were looking for a qualified Maths Teacher with strong subject knowledge and experience teaching within a secondary school.

Youll need to be confident teaching Maths through KS4 have good classroom management skills and be able to create a positive learning environment.

The school would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative department and is keen to contribute beyond their own classroom.
