Job Summary
A highly regarded school in Wolverhampton is seeking a passionate and committed Maths Teacher to join its mathematics department on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with strong subject knowledge who can inspire pupils and deliver engaging challenging and well-structured lessons.
The successful Maths Teacher will teach across KS3 to KS5 helping pupils develop their mathematical knowledge confidence and problem-solving skills. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a broad and engaging curriculum and support pupils in achieving their academic potential.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 to KS5
Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
Preparing pupils effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Developing pupils confidence and independent problem-solving skills
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
Working collaboratively with the wider Maths department
Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
The school is looking for a qualified Maths Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics. Previous experience teaching at secondary level is desirable although strong ECTs may also be considered.
The successful candidate should have excellent classroom management skills strong communication abilities and a commitment to helping pupils of all abilities make strong progress.
