A high-achieving Secondary School in Dudley is seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging and intellectually stimulating lessons that develop students mathematical fluency reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Students follow a carefully sequenced curriculum covering number algebra geometry statistics probability and mathematical modelling with many choosing to continue their studies through A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations while encouraging them to develop confidence in applying mathematical concepts to a wide range of real-world situations.

In addition to classroom teaching you will contribute to curriculum development intervention programmes STEM initiatives maths competitions and enrichment activities that inspire students to develop a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 KS4 and KS5

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level and Further Mathematics

• Experience contributing to STEM or mathematics enrichment initiatives

• Ability to support intervention programmes that raise attainment

• A proven track record of delivering excellent student outcomes
