Job Summary
A high-achieving school in Liverpool is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join its successful department on a full-time basis with an ASAP start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students to develop their mathematical understanding confidence and problem-solving skills. The role would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons.
The successful Maths Teacher will teach across KS3 to KS5 planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge students while providing appropriate support. You will contribute positively to the wider Maths Department and play an important role in supporting student progress.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons
Teaching across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Preparing students effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
Contributing to departmental planning and enrichment activities

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Degree in Maths or a related subject
Strong mathematical subject knowledge
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
Ability to teach confidently through KS5
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A genuine passion for helping students succeed
