A grammar school in Norwich is seeking to appoint a Maths Teacher to join its department from September. This is a full-time role within an academically ambitious environment that values high achievement analytical thinking and excellence in teaching and learning.

You will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging lessons that cover number algebra geometry statistics mechanics and advanced mathematical concepts.

Students will be prepared for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations through structured teaching targeted intervention and regular assessment.

You will support learners across a range of abilities while challenging high-achieving students through extension and enrichment opportunities.

You will work collaboratively within the department to maintain high standards of teaching and curriculum delivery.

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 KS4 and KS5

• Deliver lessons covering core and advanced mathematical concepts

• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations

• Assess student work and provide structured feedback

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

• Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

• Support intervention revision and enrichment activities

• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 effectively

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

• Strong classroom management skills

• Good organisational and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level or Further Mathematics

• Experience preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations

• Ability to contribute to mathematical enrichment activities
