A well-regarded Church of England School in Bath is seeking to appoint a talented and committed Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September. This is a full-time opportunity within a supportive and values-led school that combines strong academic expectations with excellent pastoral care and a genuine sense of community.

Mathematics is a core subject across the school with students encouraged to develop confidence resilience and strong problem-solving skills through an engaging and carefully structured curriculum.

You will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering high-quality lessons that challenge students and support excellent progress.

Students will study a broad range of topics including algebra geometry ratio statistics probability and mathematical reasoning with opportunities to teach A-Level Mathematics depending on experience and departmental needs.

You will support students in building fluency reasoning and confidence while preparing them for GCSE and A-Level examinations. The successful candidate will also contribute to intervention strategies curriculum development and wider enrichment opportunities such as maths clubs and competitions.

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 KS4 and KS5

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons

• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations

• Develop students fluency reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Assess student progress and provide detailed constructive feedback

• Support intervention strategies to raise attainment

• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development

• Promote participation in maths enrichment and wider school initiatives

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics

• Experience contributing to intervention and enrichment programmes

• Ability to support high attainment and examination success

• Strong track record of improving student outcomes
