An ambitious Secondary School in Sheffield is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students mathematical reasoning confidence and problem-solving skills.
Students follow a broad curriculum covering algebra geometry statistics probability and calculus preparing them for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics qualifications. You will inspire students to think critically embrace challenge and apply mathematical concepts in a variety of contexts.
You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through maths clubs intervention sessions UKMT competitions enrichment activities and initiatives that promote STEM education across the school.
Teach Mathematics across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Deliver engaging challenging and differentiated lessons
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations
Develop students reasoning analytical and problem-solving skills
Assess progress and provide high-quality feedback
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Support maths enrichment intervention and extracurricular activities
Inspire confidence and enthusiasm for Mathematics

Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level or Further Mathematics
Experience supporting maths competitions or enrichment programmes
Ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities
A proven track record of delivering excellent student outcomes
