Job Summary
A successful secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join its established Maths department from October.
The school is committed to developing students confidence and ability in Mathematics and is looking for a teacher who can combine strong subject knowledge with engaging and accessible teaching.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across KS3 and KS5 depending on experience and will become part of a supportive team focused on securing strong outcomes for students.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Mathematics across the secondary age range.
Planning and delivering engaging lessons.
Supporting students preparing for examinations.
Assessing progress and providing effective feedback.
Differentiating learning to meet individual needs.
Contributing positively to the Mathematics department.
Applicants should have:
QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
Strong Mathematics subject knowledge.
Secondary teaching experience.
Excellent behaviour management.
