About the Job

To provide a high quality customer and quality focused service through direct support ensuring supplies stores/deliveries are kept running efficiently and effectively co-ordinating the requirements of working teams across the organisation with a focus on Kitchens and Bathrooms. Taking the lead to ensure Kitchens and bathrooms are accurately dispatched to achieve KPI targets


Working across all departments and depots to achieve a value for money driven service incorporating high quality standards. Working with material suppliers analysing data to ensure costs are allocated appropriately with the ability to challenge and scrutinise data and costs.

Understand and comply with all Health and safety regulations and company policies


Key Responsibilities include:

  • To assist in deliveries where necessary ensuring service delivery is not compromised during peak times
  • Ensure deliveries received are accurate in line with survey details/order details per property challenging discrepancies with suppliers
  • Ensure accurate materials are delivered and prepared for delivery to customers homes in line original order processing
  • Ability to work with computerised systems and software packages
  • Checking quantities against purchase orders inspect for damages log goods into the inventory database
  • Responsible for returns to suppliers ensuring credits are received and allocated to the correct cost centre
  • Assist supervisors in the management of van stock auditing of the K&B team working with materials providers to ensure efficient stock allocation to drive productivity
  • Report stock discrepancies and damaged items quickly and effectively
  • Form robust and effective working relationships with the planners and supervisors.
  • Reviewing weekly and monthly reports scrutinising costs and materials in line with Lampton Services material agreements
  • Understand an analyse data with the Manager to make informed decisions on stock requirements.
  • Working across all departments and locations within Lampton Services
  • Any other duties as may be reasonable allocated as required for this post.
  • Be able to drive and hold a full driving licence.
  • To follow all reasonable management requests
  • Ensure you remain up to date with all relevant compliance and mandatory training that will enable you to fulfil your roles requirements.

Stores & Stock

  • Take full control of the day-to-day organisation cleanliness and security of stores across all depots
  • Inventory checks track and manage all stock goods in and out maintaining and logging accurately.
  • Good IT and literacy skills are required across excel word and outlook
  • Inspect all incoming products for quality and report any damages or missing items immediately.

Delivery & Site

  • Assist in peak periods units and components direct to on-site operatives
  • Act as main point of contact for discrepancies in deliveries undertaken by labour/drivers
  • Manually handling the load from vehicle to property to prevent damages / Shrinkage to products & site premises.



Education & Qualifications desirable:

  • Materials and stores experience - Essential


Previous Experience and Skills Required:

  • Hold a Full Uk Driving License
  • Good working knowledge of DLO requirement. - Desirable
  • Experience of working with material suppliers - Essential
  • Good level of numeracy literacy written oral and communication skills - Essential
  • Good IT skill in Word Excel (as some analysis required) and outlook - Essential
  • Strong customer focus and customer satisfaction skills - Essential
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe systems of work - Essential
