Marketing Assistant

About the Job

TheMarketing Assistantis part of a small team whose job is to champion Warlord Games our wonderful hobby and our games and miniatures.

Main tasks include:

• Working with the Community & Marketing Lead to make sure our bi-weekly newsletters are exciting and informative sending them using the Klaviyo platform and reporting on open and click-through rates. Supported by the webstore technical team youll also be ensuring our email automations and push notifications are targeted and relevant.

• Managing our asset library taking photographs and editing video for social media content helping to moderate online discussions and user generated content as well as providing simple clear performance data.

• Supporting third parties including with the Social Media Marketing Coordinator our growing portfolio of influencers agreeing projects and organising samples.

• Liaising with our webstore team to generate ideas for promotions that are both fun for customers and commercially viable.

The job is based in our Nottingham HQ with some opportunity for hybrid working once training is complete.

Who we are looking for

A passion for wargaming is a must - while you dont need an encyclopedic knowledge of our range you will need a love of tabletop wargaming and hunger to learn about our games and miniatures.

Well train you on the digital marketing platforms we use what youll need to bring is an aptitude for using these tools and a basic grasp of how to organise data and draw conclusions.

Youll be working closely with lots of different departments inside Warlord Games - the events team customer service the store and operations for example. Youll also be liaising with people outside Warlord - influencers events organisers etc so youll need to be cheerful collaborative and resourceful.
