Job Summary

Position Overview

The Marketing & Content Executive is responsible for supporting Millgates marketing activity through the creation of engaging accurate and commercially relevant content across digital internal and external channels. The role supports the Marketing Manager in delivering campaigns social media activity website content email communications vendor marketing event promotion and reporting activity.

This role is designed to help increase Millgates brand visibility support lead generation and ensure marketing activity is aligned with the companys brand values client interests and commercial priorities.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage engaging digital content across social mediawebsiteemailpresentationsand campaign assets.
  • Write clear and compellingcopyfor blogs emails case studies client-facing documents and internal communications.
  • Design or support the creation of marketing collateral in line with Millgates brand housestyleand tone of voice.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with planning and delivering campaigns that contribute to brand awareness clientengagementand lead generation.
  • Manage regular social media posting in line with the marketing plan ensuring content remains accurateprofessionaland commercially appropriate.
  • Support website content updates landing pages SEO activity keywordconsiderationsand back linking opportunities to improve digital visibility.
  • Assist with paid advertising activity where required ensuring any activity is cost-effectivemeasurableand approved by the Marketing Manager.
  • Extract and segment CRM data to support targeted marketing activity ensuring data is used appropriately and accurately.
  • Track and report campaign performance social engagement email results and other relevant marketing metrics.
  • Support the planning promotion and follow-up of webinars customer events vendoreventsand trade exhibitions.
  • Work with Sales VendorCommercialand Technical teams to ensure campaign messaging is aligned to business priorities and technically accurate.
  • Support joint vendor and partner campaigns including coordination of assets approvalsreportingand follow-up actions.
  • Create and distribute internal communications with support from the Marketing Manager.
  • Maintain organised records of marketing activity content plans campaign outputs supplier information and evidence where required.
  • Undertake any other marketing-related duties reasonably required in line with the role and business needs including but not limited supporting with Events.
  • Support joint vendor and partner campaigns including coordination of assets approvalsreporting and follow-up actions.

  • Deliver agreed content and campaign actions within required timescales.
  • Contribute to improved engagement across social media emailwebsite and campaign channels.
  • Ensure work is accurate professional on-brandand aligned to Millgates commercialobjectives.
  • Provide regular updates to the Marketing Manager on workload progressrisksand results.

Development

  • Maintain awareness of marketing trends digital tools contentmethodsand relevant technology sector developments.
  • Seek feedback on content quality campaigndeliveryand personal performance to support continuous improvement.
  • Identifytraining needs and undertake developmentactivityagreed with the Marketing Manager.

Communication

  • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders vendorssuppliersand external contacts.
  • Use clear written communication appropriate to the audience and channel.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to gather information and deliver effective marketing outputs.

Compliance

  • Comply with Millgate policiesprocedures and quality standards including the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality ManagementSystem whereapplicable.
  • Ensure marketing activity follows appropriate data protection brand approval and record-keeping requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling company client employee supplier or commercially sensitive information.

Skills Requirement

Essential

Desirable

Experience in marketing digital marketing content creation communications or a similar role.

Knowledge of SEO best practices

Strong copywriting proofreading and communication skills.

CRM data segmentation or campaign reporting experience.

Experience creating or managing content for social media and digital channels.

Experience using Canva Adobe Creative tools or video editing software.

Goodorganisationalskills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Experience capturing and creating photo or video content for social media events or marketing activity.

High attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidance.

Experience supporting vendor-funded or partner marketing campaigns.

Confident user of Microsoft Office applications.
