Marine Finishing Technician Yacht Finisher

Location: Poole
Pay Rate: 16.50ph
Full-Time Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Marine Finishing Technician to join a busy and growing marine aesthetics team supporting high-end vessels and yacht projects. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with experience in gelcoat finishing machine polishing detailing and marine valeting who take pride in delivering a high-quality finish.

This opportunity would suit someone from a marine automotive detailing yacht refit or finishing background who has strong attention to detail and enjoys working within high-end marine environments. Carpentry or joinery experience would also be highly beneficial.

• Gelcoat repairs and finishing
• Machine polishing and buffing of marine surfaces
• Marine valeting and detailing of vessels
• Preparing vessels to a high cosmetic standard
• Supporting yacht refit and finishing projects
• Using polishing and finishing tools/equipment safely
• Maintaining clean and organised work areas
• Supporting additional finishing or carpentry tasks where required

• Experience within marine finishing gelcoat repair polishing or detailing
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Experience using machine polishers and finishing equipment
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Marine automotive or yacht industry experience beneficial
• Carpentry or joinery skills would be a bonus
• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
