Manufacturing Technician

This hands-on role puts you at the heart of manufacturing diagnostic assay components and consumables. Youll work with manual and semi-automated equipment alongside wet chemistry techniques in a regulated environment.

• Manufacture and QC diagnostic product components and consumables
• Operate manual and semi-automated manufacturing and dispensing equipment
• Carry out accurate liquid dispensing and pipetting activities
• Pack and label reagents into finished kit form
• Complete batch records accurately to required quality standards
• Process work orders using electronic MRP systems
• Maintain laboratory inventory and material controls
• Operate and maintain equipment to high standards
• Work within Quality Management Systems and GMP requirements
• Develop knowledge across manufacturing processes while delivering efficient high-quality work
• Collaborate with Operations R&D and Quality/Regulatory teams

Youll ideally have at least three years experience within a manual or semi-automated assembly environment or a degree in a bioscience chemistry or related scientific subject.

Youll also bring:

• Strong pipetting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience within manufacturing or quality control environments
• Ability to learn and confidently operate new equipment
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and GMP
• Experience within regulated environments
• Understanding of good working practices in clean controlled environments
