About the role.
Ever wondered what happens when raw data meets real curiosity Thats where you come in.
Were looking for a Data Analyst who loves digging into the details and surfacing the story behind the numbers. Youll transform complex data into clear actionable insights that help our leaders see whats really driving performance and where the next big opportunity is hiding.
Working across multiple sites and partnering closely with our Data Insights Manager and operational leaders youll be the go-to person for accurate timely reporting that people actually trust and use. Youll help keep an eye on the metrics that matter spot trends before they become problems and play a key role in building a genuinely data-driven culture one where decisions are backed by evidence not guesswork.
What youll be doing.
- Keep dashboards reports and analysis accurate on time and genuinely useful for the people relying on them
- Dig into the data to uncover insights that help the business run better not just report what happened but why
- Pull clean and validate data from across multiple systems so everyones working from numbers they can trust
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and scorecards that make performance easy to see at a glance
- Turn tricky business questions into clear useful analysis even when the ask starts out a bit vague
- Spot the trends risks and opportunities hiding in the data before they become headlines
- Get stuck into root cause investigations when something needs solving
- Keep reporting consistent and above board following good data governance practices
- Help standardize how we measure and report things so everyones speaking the same language
- Lend your analytical brain to strategic projects and continuous improvement work
- Look for smarter faster ways to automate reporting less manual grind more time for real analysis
- Be a genuine champion for data quality and decisions backed by evidence not gut feel
What youll need to be successful.
- A degree in Data Analytics Mathematics Engineering Computer Science Business Analytics Statistics or equivalent hands-on experience
- A naturally analytical mind you like getting to the bottom of things and solving problems not just spotting them
- Comfort working with large messy datasets pulled from multiple sources
- Advanced Excel skills that go well beyond VLOOKUP
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or a similar visualization tool
- A sharp eye for detail you notice when something doesnt quite add up
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to explain technical findings in plain English so non-technical audiences actually get it
- Experience in manufacturing operations or supply chain is a real plus but not essential
- Bonus points for knowledge of SQL data modelling or automation tool
