The Bradfield Development Authority is seeking a highly experienced Manager Planning Delivery to provide strategic leadership in the design and implementation of city-wide strategic and statutory planning and delivery. This role will play a key part in enabling economic growth and development across Bradfield City and the Western Sydney Aerotropolis with a focus on creating sustainable vibrant communities and job precincts that support both government and private sector investment.

This is a unique opportunity to lead complex planning and development programs providing expert advice on planning pathways environmental assessments project delivery and risk management. You will cultivate strong partnerships across government local councils industry and the private sector to influence outcomes manage competing priorities and resolve complex planning challenges. Overseeing project delivery consultant performance and compliance requirements you will ensure initiatives are delivered on time within budget and in accordance with legislative environmental sustainability and governance requirements helping to bring one of NSWs most ambitious precinct developments to life

What you will bring to the role :

  • Significant experience in strategic and statutory urban or regional planning supported by tertiary qualifications in urban or town planning.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex planning development infrastructure or precinct-related projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes across government industry local councils and community groups.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to provide high-quality advice on complex or sensitive planning and development matters.
  • Proven project management experience including managing project interdependencies consultants and contractors to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
  • Advanced communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences and build productive partnerships.

What is an essential requirement:

  • Tertiary qualifications in urban or town planning and significant relevant industry experience in strategic and statutory urban or regional planning
