The Manager EMEA TradeLeadis responsible forleading and executing trade compliancestrategyacross the EMEA region to ensure adherence to applicable customs import/export and trade regulations. This role partners closely with Supply Chain Finance Legal and Commercial teams to enable compliant and efficient crossborder operations while supporting business growth. The position plays a critical role in mitigating regulatory risk strengthening governance and driving continuous improvement across EMEA markets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead EMEA trade compliance activities in alignment with global trade policies and regional regulatory requirements.
Serve as the regional subject matter expert on customs import/export controls tariffs free trade agreements and trade regulations.
Partner with Supply Chain Logistics Finance Legal and Commercial teams to support compliant product movement and business operations.
Oversee trade compliance processes controls and documentation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory adherence.
Identify assess and mitigate traderelated risks including the impact of regulatory changes on EMEA operations.
Support internal and external audits regulatory inquiries and engagements related to trade compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency data quality and compliance governance.
Provide guidance and training to regional stakeholders on trade compliance requirements and best practices.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain International Trade Finance ora relatedfield (required).
Masters degree MBA or advanced coursework in tradelogistics or compliance (preferred).
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Typically68years of experience in trade compliance customs supply chain or a related field with regional or global scope.
Strong knowledge of EMEA trade regulations customs requirements and import/export controls.
Experience leading or influencing crossfunctional teams in a matrixed organization.
Demonstrated ability to assess regulatory risk and implement effective compliance controls.
Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulatory topics clearly.
Preferred:
Experience inthe medical devicepharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.
Familiarity with global trade systems ERP platforms and compliance reporting tools.
Experience supporting or leading regulatory audits and inspections.
Proventrack recordof driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Experience working across multiple EMEA markets and cultures.
Other:
Language: Englishproficiency;additionalEuropean languages preferred.
Travel: Up to 20% international travel within EMEA.
Certifications: Trade compliance orcustomsrelatedcertificationspreferred.
