What youlldo (the role)
Summary
The Power Markets Europe team atLSbpdevelops and manages revenue strategies for the companys solar and storage projects across Europe. As a Power Markets Analysis Manageryoudleadmarket analysis financial modelling route-to-market strategyandpricestructuringwhilst buildingexpertisein renewable energycommercialisation including PPA structures subsidies and merchant trading strategies.
Role responsibilities
Market & Regulatory Analysis:Analyse ongoing trends in EMEA power markets to inform internal view and keep key stakeholders updated
Pricing & PPAs:Work closely with Origination and Commercial teams to model and price offtake structures and deliver best value deals toLSbp
Financial Modelling:Support client and senior management engagements; ensure consistency and accuracy of power market assumptions across models.
Government Auctions:Analyse auction opportunities and support bidding strategy development.
- Short-Term Markets:Analyse trends to support energy management; prepare exposure reports; present monthly updates to risk forums.

Experience& KnowledgeRequired
Aunderstanding and interest in European power includes knowledge of supply-demand dynamics energy trading and the role of various market participants.
Familiarity with the methods and structures used for pricing energy commodities in different regions. Experience in quantitative modeling is a plus
Excellent knowledge of Excel PowerPoint Word Power BI. Python or other coding skills preferred
Experience in energy/renewables/solar PV or in a commodities trading environment preferred.

Education Required
BA or equivalent preferred.
