A privately owned fastmoving business is looking for a handson energetic Management Accountant who wants to step into a role where their work genuinely shapes the direction of the company. This is not a backoffice reporting job its a position for someone who thrives on ownership pace and being close to the numbers that drive real decisions.

Working directly with the Finance Director and the Senior Leadership Team youll play a central role in producing highquality management accounts driving monthly forecasting and supporting the business with insight that influences performance growth and strategy.

The Role

You will be the heartbeat of the monthly reporting cycle ensuring the business has accurate timely and commercially meaningful financial information. Youll work across operations commercial and leadership teams to bring clarity challenge and forwardlooking analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts commentary and KPI reporting
  
• Lead the monthly forecasting process and support budgeting cycles
  
• Partner with the Finance Director to provide insight analysis and decision support
  
• Work closely with operational and commercial teams to understand performance drivers
  
• Support cashflow forecasting working capital analysis and scenario modelling
  
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure data integrity across systems
  
• Assist with yearend processes audit preparation and statutory requirements
  
• Identify opportunities to improve processes reporting and financial visibility
  
• Provide adhoc analysis to the Senior Leadership Team to support strategic initiatives
  

Experience & Background

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  
• Strong experience in management accounting ideally within an SME or fastpaced environment
  
• Confident producing management accounts forecasts and insightful analysis
  
• Comfortable working handson with data systems and operational teams
  
• Strong Excel and financial systems capability
  
• A proactive mindset someone who spots issues early and drives solutions
