Job Overview

We areseekinga reliable and hardworking Shopping Centre Cleaner to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate willbe responsible formaintaininghigh standardsof cleanliness hygiene and presentation throughout a busy shopping centre environment ensuring a safe and welcoming experience for customers tenants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the shopping centre.

• Maintain cleanliness of public areas including mallscorridorsentrances toilets lifts escalators stairwells and staff areas.

• Sweep mop polish and disinfect surfaces asrequired.

• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and efficiently.

• Respond promptly to spillages and cleaning emergencies tomaintainsafety standards.

• Replenish consumables such as soap toilet paper and hand towels in washroom facilities.

• Use cleaning equipment and machinery safely and correctly.

• Always follow health and safety procedures including COSHH regulations.

• Report maintenance issues hazards or damages to supervisors.

• Work as part of a team to ensure the shopping centreremainsclean presentable and operational during busy trading periods.

• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public.

Requirements

• Previouscleaning or housekeeping experience preferred but not essential.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced busy public environment.

• Good attention to detail andhigh standardsof cleanliness.

• Reliable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Flexible approach to working hours including evenings weekends and holidays ifrequired.

• Good communicationskills.

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures is desirable.
