- This is a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned Major Projects Programme Delivery Lead to offer strategic direction for Dudleys significant regeneration infrastructure and place-based initiatives. The role involves overseeing the coordination and execution of a prominent project portfolio ensuring that substantial transport investments regeneration efforts and place-making ventures are effectively converted into economic growth and community advantages.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership across major regeneration infrastructure and place-based programmes.
- Integrate multiple projects into a cohesive programme that aligns with strategic goals.
- Identify and manage programme dependencies risks and opportunities.
- Establish robust governance reporting and assurance frameworks.
- Develop programme dashboards set milestones and manage performance reporting.
- Drive programme delivery accountability and maintain momentum.
- Overcome implementation barriers and facilitate timely decision-making.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in leading major regeneration infrastructure or economic development programmes.
- Proven success in managing complex high-value projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in local government or other public sector settings.
- Skilled in advising senior leaders directors and elected members.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in Programme Management Regeneration Economic Development Planning Infrastructure or a related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Additional Information
- This is a 9-month contract with a local authority.
- Rate: 900/day Umbrella.
- Payments are made on a bi-weekly schedule.
