A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT AT OUR HOTEL
- Maintaining our hotels high standards ensuring every guest space facility and behind-the-scenes area operates flawlessly and looks pristine
- Carry out short term (reactive) maintenance work e.g. repairs affecting guest bedrooms and services as a matter of urgency while adhering to all safety procedures and causing minimum disruption to guests.
- Use operate and store all tools equipment and materials safely and securely to comply with statutory regulations e.g. COSHH
- Maintain operational standards to the highest possible level in respect of service hygiene health and safety and ensure that there is minimal wastage
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Solid experience in a maintenance role ideally within hospitality or a similar setting
- Expertise in HVAC electrical plumbing and general building maintenance with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Organisational and multitasking abilities to juggle a range of responsibilities and respond quickly to urgent issues
- Flexibility to respond to urgent repairs including availability for occasional evenings weekends and on-call duties
- A passion for maintaining a safe well-functioning environment that enhances the guest experience
