Maintenance Manager

As a Maintenance Manager you will combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership. You will ensure our AD plant operates safely efficiently and at maximum output. Your work directly supports the energy transition every day.
Summary of what you will do
- Lead and carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across AD plant systems ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
- Monitor and control plant processes using SCADA systems including diagnostics fault-finding and process optimisation.
- Supervise maintenance staff apprentices and contractors supporting their development and managing workloads effectively.
- Support the Regional Plant Manager in daily operations and deputise in their absence.
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on pumps conveyors heating feeding and associated process systems.
- Lead root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement lasting corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with safe systems of work RAMS permits and fire safety standards.
What you will bring to the role
- 18th Edition Electrical qualification (essential).
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or process environment.
- Knowledge of electrical panels PLC hardware/software and SCADA systems.
- Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
- CompEx F and EX0104 (desirable but not essential).
- Full UK Driving Licence and a proactive solutions-focused mindset.
Location
This is an on-site role based at our Anaerobic Digestion facility at Gorst near Exeter.
