We specialis4e in optimising asset performance including motors gear boxes pumps machining induction condition monitoring and fabrication services.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure workflow procedures are followed.
• Operate various machines tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies.
• Record all data necessary to produce and expected service and/or design results including sizes and illustrations.
• Perform milling operations such as drilling tapping boring and conventional milling and lathe work using various engine lathes (e.g. horizontal and vertical mills and horizontal boring lathes).
• Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment.
• Perform various metalizing (metal spraying) techniques as needed.
• Understand materials and applications as required.
• Set up and perform tool-post grinding operations (e.g. precision surface facing) broaching procedures and Babbitt bearing work.
• Perform various welding operations including setup and use of MIG TIG torch and stick welders.
• Lift tighten adjust and/or secure heavy objects in order to perform work and/or to observe safety precautions.
• Use various hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools including but not limited to band saw belt sanders hand grinders files etc.
• Ensure that all company H&S policies and procedures are followed to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• Promote a culture of working safely as routine.
