LPN Nursing Manager (Assisted Living)

General Responsibilities for ALF Nursing Manager:

• Implementing and maintaining Individual Service Plans
• Conducting ongoing physical and mental assessments
• Maintaining accurate consumer records monitoring consumer safety
• Supervising and monitoring individual medical treatment programs
• Administration and delivery of consumers prescribed medication as needed
• Create staff schedules
• Monitoring and education regarding medication compliance and side effects
• Assessing consumers vital signs height weight medication compliance possible side effects and obtain AIMS score or laboratory tests as ordered by physician
• Completing PA (prior authorizations) and patient assistance for consumers psychiatric medication needs
• Rotating On Call Coverage
• Work with the ALF Doctors
• QA charts
• Provide in-service trainings
• Compliance with agency policies and procedures and adhere to all relevant local state and federal legal and regulatory requirement

Qualifications and Skills for ALF Nursing Manager:

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program
• Current Virginia unrestricted LPN License or Current Unrestricted LPN License from a Nurse Licensure Compact State
• 1-year LPN work experience in a mental health program and/or residential setting
• 1-Year LPN work experience involving individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Valid drivers license with acceptable DMV record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Preferred:Experience using Electronic medical records; basic knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Regulations.
