Logistics Executive Fixed term contract

By joining AJW Group you will become part of a world-leading independent specialist in the supply exchange maintenance repair and lease of commercial and business aircraft spare a Logistics Executive you will be working with our customers both internationally and domestically to ensure that the consignments are delivered in full on time every time.

Youll join a large logistics team of 25 people within a global organisation of 500. The logistics team provides a collaborative atmosphere where you can continue to learn and specialise in logistics within a fast-paced environment supported by people that are true specialists. This role is on-site at our HQ in Slinfold.

This role is day shift 4 on 4 off 7am - 7pm on a 12 month fixed term contract.

What you will be doing

• Exceed customer expectations and meetrequirements through the global shipping

• Youll research and use themost economical andfast-paced methods of moving consignments globally

• Decide the best method of shipping

• Complete compliance documents

• Negotiating the cost of shipping

• Consider handling labelling and shipping dangerous goods

• Collaborating with internal departments to achieve department and company goals in particular the warehouse to ensure that no interruptions happen in the customer journey

• Meeting set company goals

• Strong organisational and problemsolving skills

• Good communication and teamwork

• Ability to manage tasks independently

• Comfortable handling documentation and following processes

• Motivated reliable and goaldriven

Desirable:

• Experience in a fastpaced or operational role

• Familiarity with global teams

• Background in logistics or supply chain
