Job Summary

AUDIOLOGISTS EVER THOUGHT ABOUT SHARING YOUR SKILLS AND TRAINING OTHERS

Im really excited to be recruiting for something a little different!

Im working in partnership with an established UK audiology training provider who is expanding its training team and were looking for 6 experienced Audiologists / RHADs who would love the opportunity to put their clinical knowledge to good use in a different way.

Rather than spending every day seeing patients how would you feel about helping other healthcare professionals develop their clinical skills and confidence

If youre experienced in ear wax removal enjoy working with people and have a passion for sharing your knowledge this could be a fantastic opportunity!

Were looking for one experienced locum trainer in each of the following areas:

Scotland Central Belt: Glasgow Edinburgh and surrounding areas
Scotland North: Northern Scotland and the Highlands
North Yorkshire: Covering West Yorkshire Teesside and Newcastle
North West England
West Midlands
Bristol & South West England

Youll be helping healthcare professionals develop the practical skills knowledge and confidence needed to carry out safe and effective ear wax removal.

Youll deliver engaging hands-on training in microsuction and related techniques using a range of equipment while helping delegates become competent and confident practitioners.

Were looking for someone who:

Is a fully qualified Audiologist or RHAD
Has strong practical experience in microsuction and ear wax removal
Is confident using loops and/or endoscopic equipment
Enjoys teaching coaching mentoring or helping others learn
Has excellent communication skills and a patient approachable manner
Can make themselves available for at least 4 days per week
Is happy to travel across their region including occasional overnight stays
Holds a driving licence and is confident travelling

Previous training experience would be fantastic but what really matters is having the clinical skills confidence and ability to explain things clearly to others.

SOUND LIKE SOMETHING YOUD ENJOY

This isnt your typical audiology locum role and thats exactly what makes it so interesting!

If you love audiology but fancy using your skills in a different way Id really love to have a chat.

And if youre reading this thinking I know someone who would be absolutely brilliant at this! please do share it with them.
