Locum Adult Social Worker, Forensic Learning Disability Mental Health Social Work Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adults Social Worker to join its clients Forensic Learning Disability / Mental Health team based in Middlesbrough.

What will your responsibilities be

• Managed a complex caseload of adults with learning disabilities mental health needs and offending histories undertaking Care Act assessments support planning and risk management to promote positive outcomes and independence.
• Completed Mental Capacity Assessments Best Interest decisions and Section 117 aftercare reviews supporting safe discharge and transition from secure hospitals and inpatient settings into the community.
• Worked collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team liaising with psychology psychiatry nursing and criminal justice professionals to safeguard vulnerable adults manage risk and deliver person-centred interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have;

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
