Position Overview:
Working in our manufacturing environment you will:
Performproduction-related tasks includingline changeover supplyingand servicingproduction lines and trouble-shootingequipment issues
Perform and document test runsproduct trials and data collection
Hold team meetingsprovidedirectionto line members and trainnewemployees
Support continuous improvement projects
Participate in our Journey to Excellence and Total Preventative Maintenance initiatives
Communicate and escalate issues to Managers and other departments when needed
Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures
Qualifications:
OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
Ability to safely perform physical work including pushing pulling and lifting up to50lbs repetitively
Ability to work overtime with minimal supervisionand in a fast-paced environment
Possess strong attention to detail organizationtrouble shooting prioritizingand written and verbal communication skills
Capability to complete training for McCormick certification for forklift
Food packaging filling lines or equivalent experience would be considered an asset
SAP knowledge would be considered an asset
In the spirit of pay transparency we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $24.22 $1.50 shift differential
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location skills education experience for this role and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate inMcCormicks Dividend Plan.
