Lighting Technician Warehouse
Job Summary
Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a skilled Lighting Technician to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup maintenance and testing of lighting equipment used in various events and productions. This role involves working within a warehouse environment to ensure all lighting gear is in excellent working order and prepared for deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble maintain and test lighting fixtures and related equipment.
- Inspect and report on the condition of lighting stock.
- Assist with preparation and packing of lighting equipment for events.
- Ensure all equipment is safely stored and maintained according to standards.
- Work closely with technical and production teams to meet event requirements.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines within the warehouse and during equipment handling.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Lighting Technician in a warehouse or event environment.
- Knowledge of various types of lighting equipment and their maintenance.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently within a warehouse setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to equipment safety.
Benefits
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Based in warehouse in St Albans
Occasional on site work
Parking
After temporary period looking at 35000 per annum
