We are seeking a dependable and professional individual to join our South Tyneside College library.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with a diverse range of people demonstrate excellent customer service skills and have a strong interest in learning resources and supporting students.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Delivering a professional welcoming and efficient service at the issue desk
• Assisting students with basic IT queries printing and access to library resources
• Shelving and maintaining library stock to a high standard
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the library

We are looking for individuals who:

• Are customer-focused approachable and professional in manner
• Demonstrate confidence in using basic IT systems
• Are reliable flexible and able to work evenings (until 8pm) and at short notice
• Possess strong communication skills and work effectively as part of a team

Previous library experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
