How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

In this role your primary mission is to operate our heavy goods vehicles safely legally and efficiently. You will play a pivotal part in our supply chain ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and of our engineering equipment to our branches across the country.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Execute high-quality multi-drop delivery services ensuring products reach company depots on schedule.

• Maintain full responsibility for load and vehicle security ensuring all mechanical and safety equipment is in working order.

• Ensuring your assigned vehicle is kept clean and being responsible for its upkeep

• Manage essential daily documentation including advice notes tachograph charts and fuel mileage while ensuring all work hours align with WTD regulations.

• Obtaining signatures collecting payments if required and maintaining a high standard of customer service when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

• Prioritise the well-being of staff customers and the public by strictly adhering to our Health and Environment policies and our 12 Life-Saving Rules.

Are you a MATCH

We are looking for a disciplined driver with great customer service skills and a commitment to safety.

You will also need:

• A minimum LGV C (HGV 2) license with a full clean driving record and a valid Drivers CPC Card.

• A valid ADR qualification is desired but not essential.

• Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries and a strong geographical knowledge of the local and regional areas.

• A good standard of health and fitness is required for the manual handling of equipment and you must be willing to undergo a company medical if requested.

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills are required for accurate logging and reporting.

• FLT Licence an advantage but not essential
