LGV Delivery Driver / Factory Assistant

Location: East Challow Wantage Oxfordshire
Salary: Approximately 13.00 per hour (higher rate available for HGV licence holders)

The Role:

OnSite are looking for a reliable and hardworking LGV Delivery Driver / Factory Assistant to join our Sewer Rehabilitation team based at our factory in East Challow Oxfordshire. This is a varied role combining local deliveries with hands-on factory support helping to produce and deliver specialist liners used in sewer rehabilitation projects.

We are particularly interested in candidates who live locally to the Challow/Wantage area and are flexible with working hours including some early morning starts.

Key Responsibilities:

As an LGV Delivery Driver / Factory Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering liners and materials to site teams working across the Wessex Water and Thames Water regions.
• Assisting factory staff with the production and preparation of specialist liners for sewer rehabilitation projects.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Supporting day-to-day factory operations as required.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in line with company health and safety procedures.
• Maintaining a professional and positive approach when working with colleagues and customers.

What Youll Need:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience driving LGV vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
• A flexible approach to work including occasional early starts.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• A practical hands-on attitude and willingness to support production activities.

Desirable

• HGV licence (higher pay available for suitably qualified candidates).
• Previous experience within a manufacturing factory logistics or utility environment.
