An established high-growth responsible lender is seeking an experienced Lending Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a process-driven financial professional with a background in commercial lending or consumer lending who excels at balancing diligent risk assessment with a top-tier customer-focused approach.

Working with start-ups entrepreneurs and established businesses you will play a key role in managing loan applications through the end-to-end lifecycle driving economic growth while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Management: Guide loan applications from initial enquiry through to credit decision and completion.

• Financial Analysis: Evaluate business plans accounts cashflow forecasts and management information to determine viability and repayment capacity.

• Credit Reporting: Prepare clear high-quality credit reports and evidence-based recommendations.

• Due Diligence & Compliance: Ensure all lending decisions strictly adhere to scheme policy credit guidelines and compliance standards.

• Customer & Partner Engagement: Serve as a trusted point of contact for applicants maintaining accurate CRM records and nurturing external referral partner relationships.

Candidate Profile

• Background: Proven experience in commercial lending consumer lending underwriting banking or business finance.

• Analytical Skills: Solid understanding of financial accounts cashflow analysis affordability and risk assessment.

• Process-Driven: Strong organizational ability to manage a pipeline of multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high standards of compliance and diligence.

• Customer-Centric Mindset: Excellent communication skills with a track record of supporting clients through structured processes.
