We are looking for a Marketing Finance & Budget Planning Intern to support our marketing team with budget tracking financial planning and reporting.

This internship is ideal for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing operations budgeting and financial analysis. This is a process-driven role following a regular monthly cycle and requires someone with exceptional attention to detail strong numerical skills and a structured mindset.

Eligibility criteria:

  • This is a 12-month paid internship (full-time 37.5h/week) ideally starting in September 2026 and based in our London office (minimum 3 days/week on site).

  • Candidates must be 18 years of age and have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.

  • Candidates must be enrolled (at the time of application) in higher education or an equivalent training program/scheme/course.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Assist with tracking marketing budgets and expenses using online planning tools across global and regional teams in LEGO Retail Marketing.

  • Help raise purchase orders log them in the planner and share with the vendor.

  • Track marketing spend against approved budgets.

  • Work with internal teams to support invoice processing.

  • Support month end calls alongside internal teams reporting on planned vs actual spend and keeping the team planner updated.

  • Vendor management - supporting scope of works as part of our planning process.

  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

This role is part of the LEGO Retail Experiences and Marketing Team and will be supporting across a number of different team functions including Regional Marketing Visual Merchandising and Global role of the team is to drive traffic and sales in LEGO Stores and through initiatives such as PR events store openings proximity marketing in-store marketing digital marketing and more.

Do you have what it takes

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed (in 2026) a degree in Marketing Business Finance Accounting or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to network and establish relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
