Legal Secretary Typist

We are hiring for our client a leading law firm to appoint a Typist to support their high-performing team in Belfast.

This Typist role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established and highly respected legal team assisting with audio typing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The successful Typist will be integral to supporting the delivery of high-quality services to a wide portfolio of clients across the region working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with audio typing experience in a high-volume environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting with a strong support network.

The Role

• Provide accurate audio typing support across a variety of legal documentation (typing pool)
• Input Management Information data into spreadsheets and assist with administrative tasks
• Support colleagues with day-to-day operational duties ensuring smooth workflow
• Collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing team
• Ensure efficient handling of client documents communications and files
• Take full advantage of training provided to develop in the role

The Person

• Experience in audio typing in a high-volume environment - ideally within litigation or experience in law a must-have
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Competence in using Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
