This opportunity sits within a busy Land and Rural Property team supporting the smooth running of the department and delivering excellent client care.
The Opportunity
This is a varied role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment and delivers accurate organised and proactive support.
Working closely with legal professionals and internal colleagues the successful candidate will help maintain efficient operations and high standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepareformatand proofread a wide range of documents including correspondence reports presentations articles and specialist forms ensuring compliance with firm standards and procedures.
Handle dictation workwhererequired.
Deliver administrative support to team members and internal stakeholders across the business.
Support the onboarding of new clients by preparing and processing documentation such as Client Forms Letters of Engagement Terms of Business and AML requirements.
Manage administrative tasks relating to financial aspects of client matters and transactions.
Obtain and process property searches through Registers of Scotland while preparing registration documentation and LBTT submissions.
Arrange and coordinate travel bookings as needed.
Generate reports and compile client data using the firms case management systems.
Maintainaccuratefiling systems and provide support with diary and schedule management.
Contribute to the review and enhancement of departmental processes to promote efficiency and ensure effective day-to-day operations.
Candidate Profile Essential Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a similar administrative role ideally within Property
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Confident using Microsoft Office applications particularly Word and Excel
A proactive motivated and collaborative approach to team working
Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships across the business
