What We Offer

Salary:
Unqualified Lecturer:
29294 per year pro rata

Qualified Lecturer: 31885 - 40814 per year pro rata (Depending on Skills Qualifications & Experience)

Contract Type: Permanent Part Time 18.5 hours per week 52 weeks per year

What Youll Do

Teach and assess learners across a range of ESOL programmes and levels
Deliver engaging inclusive lessons that develop speaking listening reading and writing skills
Support learners from a variety of linguistic cultural and educational backgrounds
Create a positive and welcoming learning environment that promotes confidence and progression
Prepare learners for further study employment and everyday communication in English
Maintain high standards of safeguarding professionalism and learner wellbeing
Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement

What Youll Bring

A relevant qualification in English ESOL Linguistics Languages Education or a related subject (Level 3 or above)
Strong knowledge of English language teaching and language acquisition principles
The ability to engage and motivate learners with varying levels of English proficiency
Experience working with learners or supporting others in education training or community settings
Experience teaching ESOL or working with multilingual learners is advantageous
A commitment to inclusive teaching cultural awareness and learner success
A teaching qualification is welcomed but if you dont have one yet well support you to achieve it while you work
